We carry a complete line of soil amendments to help break up clay soils and add moisture retention to sandy soils including; Whitney Farms Topsoil, Compost and Potting Soils. From Miracle-Gro we carry Palm, Cactus & Citrus mix, Moisture Control Potting Soil and Garden Soil.

For mulching we carry cedar bark, small bark, medium bark and large bark.

Cedar Bark

Cedar bark is all natural and contains no petroleum ingredients like rubber mulches. It also helps to repel insects with its scent and snails because they don’t like to crawl over it. Beneficial earthworms thrive under cedar bark and are harder to find by predators. A layer of mulch 2"-3" deep will suppress weeds and even stop them from rooting. As it breaks down, it adds nutrients to the soil to help keep it healthy.

The Art of Composting

To start your first batch of compost, you will first need some sort of compost bin. You can simply layer your compost in a pile if you prefer, but a bin will help keep it contained. Plus an enclosed bin will help keep out rodents. A stackable compost bin is easy to use and durable enough for years of use.
